Shabbir Merali (OL 2005-2010) won the prestigious award after coming through a tough series of tests, interviews and assessments. The TARGETjobs Undergraduate of the Year Awards are sponsored by top graduate recruiters which include Deloitte, Barclays, Mars, Ernst & Young, Morgan Stanley, Laing O’Rourke, E.ON, EDF Energy, RBS, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, BT and Mayer Brown.

He was presented with his award by Paul Stephenson (Deloitte) and Michael Portillo at the ceremony which was held on 13 April in Canary Wharf.
